A buttock implant is a type of butt augmentation or butt lift that gives you the perky curves you have always wanted. This surgery isn’t necessarily for women who want to look like Beyonce or Jennifer Lopez. It could be that you simply feel your buttocks are too flat, and you wish to enhance and lift them a bit. In some cases, fat grafts or techniques such as Autologous Buttocks Augmentation may be sufficient. For others, an implant will provide the result they want.
At H/K/B, when we insert a buttock implant, we also remove any lax skin from the buttocks and do fat grafting as well to further contour the buttocks and ensure that the implant cannot be seen through the skin.

What can a buttock implant do for me?
A buttock implant can give your buttocks a round, perky, youthful contour.
What can I expect during buttock implant surgery?
The procedure is usually performed using general anesthesia at our fully accredited surgical facility on our beautiful campus, where our highly qualified nurses will pamper you. Our nurses are certified in advanced cardiac life support, which ensures the highest level of supervision, evaluation, and care in the unlikely event of an emergency. We also work only with board-certified anesthesiologists.
Incisions are made under the buttocks crease where they will remain hidden. A soft silicone implant is inserted, which will feel firm but natural to the touch.
Liposuction is used in an area with excess fat such as the abdomen, thighs, flanks, or hips. Through a small incision, a tube called a cannula is inserted and attached to a suction device. The fat is extracted and then treated in a centrifuge. It can then be re-injected into the buttocks to (1) make sure the implant will be invisible and (2) contour the buttocks for the best possible shape.
At H/K/B, we use a new technique for fat grafting that causes less disruption to the harvested fat cells. What does this mean for you? More of the fat that is injected will “take,” which means that less of the fat will be absorbed by the body. When fat is absorbed, it sometimes causes the need for a second injection procedure. Our technique also allows us to perform fat grafting faster than in the past with less downtime for you.
How long does it take to recover from buttock implant surgery?
You must sit very cautiously for the first few weeks. We generally recommend avoiding pressure on the buttocks for two weeks. You can return to work in about two weeks or when you’re comfortable. There will be swelling, bruising, and soreness in both the buttocks and the area where the fat was harvested for the grafts. Swelling may take up to six months to fully resolve, but we will give you a compression garment to wear that will help to keep swelling to a minimum.
Strenuous activities should be avoided for 4-6 weeks. Of course, we will monitor your progress, see you for follow-up examinations, and answer any questions you have during your recovery period.
How long does a buttock implant last?
A buttock implant is very long lasting.
